Service: Proofalo Scam Checking Service ("Service")

By accessing or using Proofalo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Use of Service

Proofalo is provided solely for informational purposes to help identify potential scams. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information.

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activity.

Data Collection and Usage

By using the Service, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, and sharing of data you provide (including text, metadata, or uploaded content).

We may use your data for:

• Service operation, maintenance, and improvement
• Research, analytics, and product development
• Marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes (subject to applicable law)
• Sharing with affiliates, partners, and third parties for commercial or non-commercial use

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months or (b) $100.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice for any reason, including suspected misuse or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Grand Traverse County, Michigan.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
